We know that liquid nitrogen tanks can be used to store liquid nitrogen, and we should pay special attention when using liquid nitrogen tanks, because carelessness will cause serious consequences, so what should we pay attention to when using liquid nitrogen tanks? Let’s find out together.
.Liquid nitrogen tanks can only be used to fill liquid nitrogen.
.Liquid nitrogen tanks should be used in a dry and ventilated environment.
.The use of storage tanks for long-distance transportation is prohibited, and special transportation tanks are required for the transportation of liquid nitrogen.
.Before we fill the tank with liquid nitrogen, we must carefully check whether there is any depression in the shell of the liquid nitrogen tank. The depression will destroy the high vacuum state in the tank and accelerate the loss of liquid nitrogen.
.When filling liquid nitrogen, frosting on the surface of the liquid nitrogen tank is a normal phenomenon. If there is still frost on the surface after standing for 3-4 hours, it means that there is a problem with the vacuum. Please check it in time.
.When using a liquid nitrogen tank, it is forbidden to completely close the tank mouth, so as to prevent the liquid nitrogen from evaporating into nitrogen gas, causing the pressure inside the tank to rise and explode.
.Please refill the liquid nitrogen when there is still a small amount of liquid nitrogen in the tank, or refill the liquid nitrogen within 48 hours after the liquid nitrogen is used up.
.If the liquid nitrogen tank is not used for a long time, the liquid nitrogen needs to be discharged to keep the tank dry.
